Search Tips
Using the Webroot Threat Research Center, you can search using the following:
Exact Name
If you know the exact name of a detected spyware application, as displayed by your Webroot product, the exact name match of known spyware programs will return the requested results.
Category
If you do not know the exact name of the program you are searching you can browse the category search for the most prevalent types of adware, system monitors and Trojan horses.
Wildcard
To perform a wildcard search for a program, you need at least three sequential characters (E.g. CWS) appearing in its name. The search will return all related results in a 10-per-page format with the most relevant first.
Unique Code
The Webroot Threat Research Center also allows searches by an exact entry of a program's Unique Code (i.e., CWSQWS1 for CWS Quick Web Search).
